'Noles, Gators feature 2 of nation's top defenses

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Points could be difficult to come by when sixth-ranked Florida visits No. 10 Florida State.

The Seminoles (10-1, 7-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) lead the nation in total defense and rank among the top five in four other defensive categories while Florida (10-1, 7-1 Southeastern Conference) isn't far behind, going into Saturday's game ranked fourth nationally in total defense.

Florida State is giving up 13.1 points and 236.3 yards a game while Florida has allowed 11.8 points and 328.8 yards a game.

Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher says there's no chance his team is looking ahead to next week's ACC championship game against Georgia Tech. Florida wraps up its regular season although the Gators could still be in the BCS national championship hunt with a win and some help from others.
