AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - The Auburn Tigers found another way to
This time the seventh-ranked Tigers used a 19-play, clock-eating
drive for the winning field goal Saturday night in a 37-34 victory
It was the third three-point victory during a 6-0 start that has
left Auburn as the highest ranked Southeastern Conference team.
Coach Gene Chizik said Sunday it was "another new way to win."
Quarterback Cam Newton had 10 runs and two completions for first
downs on the marathon drive.
The next two weeks will test those survival skills. The Tigers,
6-0 for the first time since going unbeaten in 2004, host fellow
SEC West contenders No. 12 Arkansas and No. 9 LSU.
