No. 7 Miami prepping for Winston, No. 3 FSU

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) -- When Miami coach Al Golden was asked what stands out about Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston's ability, his eyes widened a bit.
Make no mistake: The Hurricanes are duly impressed by the Seminoles' new star.
Winston's numbers are absurdly good. He's completing 70 percent of his passes, has 23 touchdowns compared with four interceptions. For every eight passes he throws, one of them goes for a touchdown, the best rate in the nation so far this season.
Slowing Winston will be a priority for Miami's defense Saturday when No. 3 Florida State hosts the seventh-ranked Hurricanes in a matchup of unbeatens. Historically, Miami tends to frustrate FSU quarterbacks, who have 11 touchdown passes in the teams' last 13 meetings.
