No. 14 Nebraska hoping for title luck vs. Badgers

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Nebraska has been in title games before. It has been a while since there was an outcome the Huskers liked.

On Saturday, the 14th-ranked Cornhuskers can get a fresh start, facing Wisconsin in their first Big Ten title game.

For Nebraska (10-2, 7-1 Big Ten), the month of December has been filled with agony. The Huskers lost to Texas in the 2009 Big 12 title game when the officials added 1 second to the clock and blew a 17-point lead in the next year's title game, losing to rival Oklahoma.

Wisconsin (7-5, 4-4) won last year's inaugural Big Ten championship game. Nebraska is attempting to win its first league crown since 1999.
