The nation's top punter will enroll at Auburn on Aug. 1.
Jimmy Hutchinson tweeted Thursday night he will report to campus for the start of fall camp instead of January 2014 as previously planned.
Hutchinson said in February he was going to grayshirt and start his career with the team in January 2014, but plans have apparently changed.
"Happy to announce that I'm apart of the 2013 class again and will be reporting to Auburn Aug. 1st," he tweeted at 8:11 p.m.
Hutchinson was ranked the nation's No. 1 punter by 247sports.com and Scout.com in 2013. He averaged 39.2 yards per punt at Harrison (Kennesaw, Ga.) as a senior. He also earned a spot in the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl.
Steven Clark appears to have the starting job wrapped up at punter, but Hutchinson could push for playing time in some situations.
