National Track & Field Games - Vincente Cody, a 10 year old 5th grader in Mrs. Truitt's class at Slingluff Elementary School placed 8th out of 20 competitors in Hershey, PA this summer. To qualify for the Nationals, Vincente had to place in a State track meet in Anniston earlier this year. Joel Harvin, Slinguff Coach says, "Vincente Cody can outrun anybody on the playground."
