NEWTON, Iowa (AP) -- Elliott Sadler rebounded from the disappointment of his jumped-restart penalty last week in Indianapolis to win the NASCAR Nationwide Race at Iowa Speedway on Saturday night.
Sadler denied Ricky Stenhouse Jr. a fourth straight victory at Iowa Speedway, and increased his lead in the series standings to 18 points over Austin Dillon.
NASCAR-PENNSYLVANIA 400 QUALIFYING
LONG POND, Pa. (AP) -- Colombian sensation Juan Pablo Montoya had the fastest car in qualifying for Sunday's Sprint Cup race at Pocono Raceway, winning his first pole since April 2011 at Richmond. Montoya hasn't won a race in two years.
Denny Hamlin and Paul Menard qualified second and third while points leader Dale Earnhardt Jr. earned the eighth spot on the grid.
