(DOTHAN)-- Daleville Head Coach Brad McCoy has resigned from his coaching duties with the Warhawks.

McCoy coached the Warhawks for five seasons and compiled a 34-19 record.

The Warhawks best season under McCoy came in 2012 when they finished with an unblemished, 10-0 record in the regular season.

The mark was the first time the Warhawks had gone undefeated in the regular season since 1992, when they won the state championship.

Daleville won its second region championship with McCoy on the sideline, but lost in the first round of the 2012 playoffs.

Daleville was 8-3 in 2010, and won the first of two Class 3A, Region 2 crowns in McCoy's tenure.

The Warhawks were just 4-6 in 2011, and did not make the postseason.

During his five seasons at the helm of the DHS program, McCoy tallied a 25-10 record in region play and took the team to the playoffs three times.

The Warhawks were 5-5 last season, and did not make a playoff appearance.
