Luverne Names Mike Dubose as Head Football Coach

LUVERNE, AL -- Multiple sources are reporting Mike Dubose is the new head football coach at Luverne in High School. This will be the second time around for Dubose at Luverne,

He coached the Tigers in 2003 and 2004, leading Luverne to the 2003 State Championship Game. Dubose also served as the head coach at Northview High School in Dothan for one season.

Dubose is best known for his tenure at Alabama, which included and SEC Championship in 1999. He was fired after the 2000 season.

Dubose will replace Les Sanders, who resigned in March.
