Local Football Players Commit to Schools of Choice

The Dothan High and Northview Football Teams have been busy during the recruiting season. The Tigers and Cougars are both sending multiple players to college programs on National Signing Day on February 6th.

A pair of Dothan seniors verbally committed on Tuesday. Offensive lineman Daniel Hill has committed to West Alabama, while wide receiver Trey Jackson is bound for Tuskegee.

The Tigers now have six players committed, including three to FBS programs. Kamryn Melton is committed to Auburn, while Julian Jackson has picked Wake Forest and Jalen Harris has chosen Troy.

At Northview, the Cougars now have seven players committed for National Signing Day. Cougars offensive lineman James Tillman has committed to Benedict College in South Carolina,while. defensive lineman Corey Whitehurst has de-committed from Stillman College, switching to Benedict.
