BIRMINGHAM, Alabama - Alabama's first class of 2016 commitment didn't last long.
Waynesboro, Miss., defensive lineman Benito Jones changed his mind and gave a verbal commitment to Ole Miss on Sunday, he told AL.com in a direct message. It was first reported by the Clarion-Ledger.
Jones, a 4-star recruit and the No. 83-ranked recruit nationally in the 247Sports composite rankings, had been committed to Alabama since July 13. Jones visited Ole Miss this weekend.
