Jerrel Jernigan scores first career touchdown in NFL

A giant day for New York Giant's wide receiver Jerrel Jernigan.

The former Eufaula and Troy standout scored his first career touchdown in the NFL. It came on a 20-yard pass to put the Giants up 10-3 in the second quarter. He also came up big in overtime. Eli Manning connected with Jernigan for a first down to set up what would ultimately be the Giant's winning field goal.

Jernigan led the team with 6 catches for 80 yards and the touchdown.
