(DOTHAN)-- He walked off the golf course to sign with the school he'll play golf at for the next four years.
Houston Academy standout, Chase Feagin inked with the Oglethope University earlier this afternoon.
Feagin garnered interest from Troy, Rice, Birmingham Southern and Huntingdon but eventually chose to play golf for the Stormy Petrel.
Feagin's coach, Will Beason says he's one of the most consistent players for the Raiders.
This past season Feagin finished with a stroke average of 71.6. He finished second overall at Regionals and third overall in the 2A state tournament.
Feagin just felt Oglethorpe was the right fit.
"Turned out to be the right fit after I visited twice and after I saw what the golf team had to offer, I just felt home there," said Feagin.
"they're last year's national championship winners. They're expected to win a few more national championships. Coming to play wtih a top golf team like that is really an honor for me," he said.
Feagin beat every golfer in 2A this year, at least once.
