High School Football Season Begins In Alabama

High School Football season has officially begun in Alabama. A handful of teams played their season openers on Thursday night, including Opp's 36-26 win over Luverne.

Realignment and Reclassification in Alabama has led to some major changes. Now, teams have 11 weeks to play 10 games, allowing some teams to open their regular seasons this weekend, while others still play preseason games and jamborees.
