NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference released part of its television package on Monday morning at Sun Belt Football Media Day and four additional Troy games were selected for broadcast.

Troy’s opening two games of the season against UAB and Savannah State in Veterans Memorial Stadium will both be broadcast live on ESPN3 and will kickoff at 6 p.m. Troy’s Homecoming contest against South Alabama will kickoff at noon at will be televised by the Sun Belt Network, while Troy’s game at Georgia State will also be televised by the Sun Belt Network (kickoff time will be announced at a later time).

Troy’s three nationally televised games on ESPU that were announced earlier will all kickoff at 6:30 p.m. – at Arkansas State (Sept. 12), vs. ULM (Oct. 31) and at Louisiana-Lafayette (Nov. 7).

Games against Southeastern Conference foes Mississippi State (Sept. 21) and Ole Miss (Nov. 16) will be selected for broadcast as part of the SEC Network closer to the game date. Troy’s game at Duke on Sept. 28 is also expected to be broadcast which would mean that at least 10 of Troy’s 12 games will be broadcast live.

For the upcoming season the Sun Belt Network will air seven high-definition football broadcasts as part of a minimum of 39 broadcasts that the network will air. The Sun Belt Network is a partnership of the league and Cox Sports Television (CST) and Comcast Sports Southeast (CSS) that has been in place since 2008. The Sun Belt Conference may seek distribution with providers outside of the footprint those two networks reach. Contests are often available on ESPN3 and ESPN GamePlan outside of the CSS and CST markets.

Since its inception and including the upcoming season, the Sun Belt Network will have aired over 150 Sun Belt contests. Additional television games can be added through ESPN’s 12-day selection option and the announcement of non-conference games that will be televised.

Season tickets for Troy’s five home games are available and can be purchased by calling the Troy ticket office at 1-877-878-WINS, by logging on to or by visiting the Tine Davis Fieldhouse.
