After an emergency heart procedure less than two months ago, former Alabama quarterback Freddie Kitchens is back on the field in his position as quarterback coach with the Arizona Cardinals.
In an interview on Sunday, Kitchens said he feels good but energy is a bit of a problem. He says working the long hours is making him tired but he expected that to be the case.
According to the Arizona Republic, Kitchens underwent a nine-hour surgery in June to repair a tear in his aorta. Doctors say that he wouldn't be alive if it werent for the Cardinals' medical staff and their quick reaction.
