SAN FRANCISCO, California -- Former Auburn defensive end Corey Lemonier has signed a four-year contract with the San Francisco 49ers, according to the NFL.
Lemonier was drafted in the third round by the 49ers, who traded up to pick up the 6-foot-3, 244-pounder with the 88th pick overall in April. News of Lemonier's deal with the 49ers was released Monday afternoon.
Financial details were not released, but the deal is likely worth roughly $2.8 million overall, according to rookie pool estimates.
Lemonier will likely move to outside linebacker to play in the 49ers' 3-4 scheme.
