Enterprise Junior Dixie Boys, win Dixie State Title

The rain finally let up today for the Dixie State Tournaments. The 13 and 14 year olds hit the diamond for their championship games.

The Enterprise Junior Dixie Boys took on Spanish Fort. Enterpise took the early 3-1 lead over Spanish Fort in the third. But bottom of the fifth, Enterprise decides to crank things up a notch turning the lead, into a landslide.

Darius Griffin drives in Will Baker and Wyatt Grice on his double to left. Mason Marsh knocked another long ball to send Joseph Smith home. Kaleb Reynolds' 2-run RBI stealed the deal. The game was called in the 5th with Enterprise taking the 11 to 1 victory. They advance to the Dixie World Series in August.

The 14 year old Enterprise Dixie Boys weren't as lucky. The lost to Fairhope, 9-7.
