Denver Powers Past New England 26-16 in AFC Championship Game

UNDATED (AP) -- The Denver Broncos are back in the Super Bowl. They advanced with a 26-16 win over the Patriots in the Mile High City.

Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning led his team to victory with 400 yards passing and two touchdowns. The trip to the Super Bowl is Denver's first in 15 years.

His career record now against Patriots QB Tom Brady is 5 and 10.

For the game Brady threw for 277 yards, most of which came after the Patriots had fallen behind by 20 points. New England only got 64 yards on the ground.

Up next for the 15-3 Broncos is the Feb. 2nd Super Bowl in New Jersey against the winner of the NFC Championship.
