At the time of SEC Media Days last season, Dak Prescott knew he was going into the season as the back-up quarterback.
This year, Prescott is prepping to be the number one guy going into the season.
"I have high expectations for myself. I'm going to continue to do what I do, work hard, get better and try to be the best quarterback that I can."
Coach Dan Mullen has every confidence that Prescott has earned the starting spot and can bring the Bulldogs success.
"Dak is a guy that because of his skill set, he can beat you with his arm, with his legs, he can run between the tackles and he can run in the open field. He has a lot going for him. But most importantly he has that will to win.'
Mississippi State returns 30 starters and given last year's long list of injuries, the experience will be important to building the program and creating depth.
