The Wallace Baseball Team held it's own with traditional powerhouse Chipola for two and a half innings on Tuesday. It took one pitch for the Indians to take control.
Kaleb Barlow delivered a three-run double with two outs in the top of the third inning, breaking open a close game. The Indians scored seven runs in the inning, turning a 1-0 deficit into a 7-1 lead, en route to a 15-2 victory in seven innings.
The Govs took an early lead on Clayton Fenwick's solo homer in the bottom of the second inning. Wallace would score just one more run, while the Indians scored at will.
Wallace is back in action on Wednesday, visiting Andrew College in Cuthbert, Georgia for a double header at 1:00 p.m.
