Chipley Tops Holmes County in Panhandle Showdown

Chipley continued it's dominance over rival Holmes County, beating the Blue Devils 82-70 at The Den. The Tigers improved to 17-2 with the victory.

Tyrome Sharp scored 26 points, and Trent Forrest added 25 points for the Tigers, who took control of Class 1A District 2. Chipley beat Holmes County in both meetings last season on it's way to the Class 1A State Championship.

The Blue Devils fell despite a monster night from Florida signee Chris Walker, who scored 35 points. Holmes County is 10-6 on the year, 6-1 in District play.
