(DOTHAN)-- The 9th Annual Max Emfinger All-American Bowl will boast some of the top talent from around the country.

Two Carroll Eagles were selected to play in the game.

Defensive Tackle, Aaron Garrison recorded 73 tackles, 13 for a loss and 3 forced fumbles this season. Joining Garrison is RB/LB Darice Allen.

Allen rushed for more than 900 yards, garnered more than 1,000 all-purpose yards. As linebacker he recorded 43 tackles and returned two interceptions for touchdowns.

Garrison and Allen haven't received much as far as recruiting but this game could change that.

"I would love to play for Troy. I grew up a Trojans fan," said Allen.

The Max Emfinger bowl has set numerous players up with scholarships over the years.

"The Under Armour and Army games get the most press but this game just gives players who might be overlooked an opportunity to receive scholarship opportunities," said Emfinger by phone.

Carroll defensive coordinator Josh Robertson will also help coach the East team.

"These two guys man, Darice Allen and Aaron Garrison really worked hard this season and did everything they needed to on the field," said Robertson.

"These guys are gonna get to play with some of the better, ya know, athletes in the nation and so it'll be a really good chance for them to step up and put carroll high school on the map," he said.

Emfinger expects somewhere between 85-100 players to play in the game. The bowl game will be played at Daphne high school on January 4th.
