MARIANNA, FL -- Gary Gaskins scored 20 points, hitting 10-of-11 shots, leading Brevard past Santa Fe 69-48 at the FCSAA State Tournament. With the win, the Titans advanced to the semifinals on Friday against the host school Chipola.
The Titans shot 50 percent from the floor on the night. Jure Gunjina and Jordan Smith scored nine points each for Brevard.
The nightcap of the Men's quarterfinals was tight early, with the Titans leading 35-29 at halftime. The Titans broke the game open after the break, outscoring the Saints 34-19.
Bobby Hunter led Santa Fe with 14 points,
