Auburn is preparing for one of the biggest recruiting weeks of the Gus Malzahn era so far as the Tigers will welcome two of the nation's top quarterback prospects to campus for unofficial visits.

With 9 commitments, the Tigers' 2014 recruiting class currently ranks No. 24 and 23 in the nation by and 247Sports, respectively, but that ranking could soon jump sharply if the Tigers land an elite quarterback prospect like Bossier City, Louisiana star Brandon Harris. The four-star signal caller, rated the nation's No. 1 dual-threat quarterback by 247Sports, confirmed on Twitter on Sunday that he'll take his long-awaited final visit this week to Auburn before announcing his college choice on July 18.

Harris, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound athlete, has narrowed his choices down to Auburn, Ohio State and the home-state LSU Tigers. Harris told earlier this summer that he has developed a strong relationship with Auburn offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee, who sees him as the perfect prototypical quarterback for the Malzahn system.
