Auburn's jordan Price on Record Roll

By JOHN ZENOR
AP Sports Writer

Auburn hasn't lost since the last time Jordan Price missed a 3-pointer.

Price has matched the Southeastern Conference record by making 11 consecutive 3-point attempts during the Tigers' three-game winning streak. He is four shy of the NCAA mark set by Northwestern's Todd Leslie in 1990 going into Saturday night's game with Winthrop.

The freshman guard has already tied the SEC record held by Vanderbilt's Kevin Anglin for 20 years.

Price says he doesn't consider himself a 3-point shooter but says "it's just a blessing that I haven't missed."

He's not superstitious, even wearing different shoes for Game 3 of the streak. He made three 3-pointers in a stretch of 61 seconds in the first half of that game and didn't launch another one.
