burn's weekend camp has been a bountiful one, as in addition to landing top junior-college prospect D'haquille Williams on Sunday, the Tigers also got a commitment from Georgia Military College defensive tackle Devaroe Lawrence, according to 247Sports.
"Its family, you love Auburn and they love you 10 times more," Lawrence told 247Sports. "I never saw myself being in this position. I told Coach Gus Malzahn the same thing. I watched Auburn win the National Championship in 2010 and never did I think that I would be here. This is big for me and it's just an honor."
Lawrence (6-3, 278), a Greenville (S.C.) native who is a four-star prospect according to 247Sports but only a two-star according to Scout.com, is a largely unknown prospect as he redshirted last fall at GMC, where he reportedly walked on after trying out at a combine.
