MADISON, AL -- Auburn landed a commitment from one of the top football prospects in the nation when Madison Academy running back Kerryon Johnson announced his pledge to the Tigers on Tuesday at a ceremony at his school.
Johnson, a 6-foot, 200-pound star rated the nation's No. 2 athlete prospect by the 247Composite rankings, chose Auburn over Florida State and Alabama. Johnson is rated the No. 2 player in the AL.com A-List of the top prospects in the state of Alabama.
