Colby Turvin has been a key contributor at Ashford Academy ever since he stepped foot on campus. Now, the Falcons do everything star will get a chance to do the same thing at the college level.
Turvin on Monday signed a letter of intent to play at Huntingdon College. After spending time at several positions for the Falcons, Turvin plans to play H-back for the Hawks.
He was a captain for the Falcons as a senior, leading Ashford Academy to the AISA Class A semifinals. His biggest impact was felt on defense, where Turvin had 121 tackles, five fumble recoveries and an interception.
Turvin was an asset on offense as well, leading the team with 376 receiving yards and scoring four rushing touchdowns. Turvin also played on Ashford Academy's State Championship Basketball Team this season.
