Former major league player Wladimir Balentien hit his 56 and 57th homeruns in this season Sunday, setting a new record for the most homeruns in one season previously set by Japan's legendary hitter Sadaharu Oh 48 years ago.

The 29-year-old outfielder of Yakult Swallows from Curacao took a fastball to left center from Hanshin Tigers pitcher Daiki Enokida.
