Alabama safety HaHa Clinton-Dix suspended indefinitely

By  |

After practice Wednesday Nick Saban suspended Safety HaHa Clinton-Dix for a violation of team rules.

Clinton-Dix is suspended indefinitely.

Saban would not comment specifically about what team rule Clinton-Dix violated.

Clinton-Dix is a third-year junior and considered one of the nation's best safeties. He's second on the team with 24 tackles behind Linebacker C.J. Mosley who has 25.

Saban said sophomores Landon Collins and Geno Smith will fill the void during Clinton-Dix's absence.

Clinton-Dix is the fourth Alabama player to serve a Saban-announced suspension since the start of preseason camp.
