BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) -- Oneonta is a unanimous Class 4A No. 1 in the Alabama Sports Writers Association high school football poll, a week after being ranked at the top for the first time since 2005.

The Redskins beat Class 5A preseason No. 3 Pinson Valley 21-16 to capture all the first-place votes of the state's prep writers. They lost to Jackson in last season's championship game.
