Alabama Back on the Practice Fields to Start Arkansas Week

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The top-ranked Alabama football team began on-field preparations for this weekend's SEC clash with Arkansas during a two-hour practice in shells on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.

The Crimson Tide first corrected mistakes from the Kentucky game before moving on to the Razorbacks who will visit Bryant-Denny Stadium for a 6 p.m. kickoff on ESPN Saturday. The Tide has won six straight in the series and own a 13-8 edge in the series.

Earlier in the day, Athlon Sports named A'Shawn Robinson the SEC Freshman of the Week after six tackles with two sacks in the Tide's 48-7 win over Kentucky. The College Football Performance Awards also announced that Christion Jones was named an honorable mention punt returner of the week after bringing back three punts for 52 yards.
