A-Day Primer: Tigers set to host fans on April 19

AUBURN, Ala. -- Auburn's annual spring football game, A-Day, will be held Saturday, April 19 at 2 p.m. CT at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Events also taking place on A-Day include a pregame Punt, Pass and Kick Contest, Fan Fest, the War Eagle Invitational Track & Field meet and Auburn baseball versus South Carolina.

Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. CT and can be heard on the following affiliate stations and nationally on SiriusXM radio. Live audio will be available on AuburnTigers.com. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN.

Tickets are $5 for the general public and free for AU students with an Auburn Ignited card. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to avoid waiting in line on April 19. Tickets can be purchased online at AUBTIX.com until Friday, April 11 to have them delivered by mail. After April 11, all tickets purchased online will be print at home.

Tickets also can be purchased at the Auburn Ticket Office located at Auburn Arena from 7:45 a.m. - 5 p.m. Starting Monday, April 7 tickets can be purchased at various locations in the Auburn-Opelika area (Auburn Team Shop, Auburn University Bookstore, Anders Bookstore, Big Blue Bookstore, both J&M Bookstore locations and Tiger Rags).

On A-Day, tickets will be available at the main ticket office at Auburn Arena beginning at 8 a.m. and at the Jordan-Hare Stadium ticket windows beginning at noon. All Jordan-Hare Stadium gates will be open for A-Day, but the West upper deck will not be open for seating.

Parking is free for the 2014 A-Day game. In addition to the normal Auburn football gameday public parking, the following lots are available for the general public: W (McWhorter Building), SAND (AG Heritage Park), South Deck, B (Lowder Business lot), North Park ($10 per/car), The Beach (AG Heritage Hayfield), Utah (Hayfield). The following lots will be reserved for permit parking: Old Track Lot, Z (Complex), CD (Complex Deck), EC (Coliseum), D (Stadium Deck), S (Arena), NS (North Stadium Lot), Handicap (Public Safety Building), A (Allison Lab Lot).

Tiger Transit shuttles will run both on and off-campus on Saturday, April 19 beginning at noon and will conclude at 7 p.m. Tiger Transit Shuttle service will run from the following off-campus locations: Village Mall, AU Airport (Fly-Ins Only), Duck Samford, City of Auburn Softball Complex, (transits will NOT run from Tiger Town). Tiger Transit Shuttle service will run from the following on-campus locations: War Eagle Way, Facilities Division, Lem Morrison and Donahue, Woodfield and Donahue, West Parking Lot and the Samford Avenue community garden

Auburn will host the War Eagle Invitational at the Hutsell-Rosen Track on Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19. Competition will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. on Saturday. Admission is free.

The annual Tiger Trail event will take place on Friday, April 18 at 5 p.m. at Auburn Arena. The 2014 class of Tiger Trail inductees: Ronnie Brown, Carnell Williams, Richard Quick, Cleve Wester, Doc Robinson and Megan Rivera. Tickets are $25. Auburn's baseball team will be in action over the A-Day weekend as they play host to South Carolina in a three-game series at Plainsman Park. Friday's game is set for 6 p.m., first pitch on Saturday is 4 p.m. and the Sunday finale will begin at 1 p.m. Purchase Tickets

Join legend Bo Jackson for a silent auction event the evening before the third annual Bo Bikes Bama charity bike ride in Auburn. Enjoy hors d' oeuvres, beer and wine while browsing a silent auction featuring signed memorabilia from athletes and entertainers. All proceeds benefit the Governor's Emergency Relief Fund, which has repaired hundreds of homes and built 27 community storm shelters since the April 27, 2011 tornadoes. Bo Bikes Bama is an annual charity bike ride led by two-sport legend and Alabama native Bo Jackson. Every year, Bo Bikes Bama raises money for the Governor's Emergency Relief Fund, which provides crucial disaster preparedness and emergency management resources for the state of Alabama.

This year, the third annual Bo Bikes Bama ride will take place in Auburn on A-Day, Saturday, April 19th. Participating riders can choose either a 62-mile or 22-mile route. Both routes will take riders through the campus of Auburn University, while the 62-mile route will carry riders through Tuskegee and neighboring Macon County. | Register to Ride

On Friday afternoon, the Athletics Department will host locker room tours at Jordan-Hare Stadium from at 4-6 p.m. Admission is free and fans should enter through Gate 10.

A Punt, Pass and Kick contest, 40-yard dash, and field goal challenge will be held on the football practice fields beginning at 9 a.m. Entrance to the field is off Biggio Dr. | More Info & Entry Form (PDF)

The Coca-Cola Tiger Fan Fest featuring live music by Kidd Blue, inflatable games, face painting, food vendors and more will be located on the campus green space just East of Jordan-Hare Stadium beginning at 10 a.m. Admission is free.

Children 10 and under are invited to participate in Aubie's Easter Egg Hunt on the campus green at 11:30 a.m. More than 10,000 eggs will be available with several golden eggs containing special prizes.

Greet the football team and coaching staff as they head to Jordan-Hare Stadium for the A-Day game.Tiger Walk will begin at approximately 12:45 p.m.

A ceremony to honor the 2013 Southeastern Conference Championship team will be held prior to the A-Day game. Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 1:45 p.m.

A post-game autograph session will be held following the conclusion of A-Day and will last for approximately 45 minutes. Fans will be limited to one item per person.
