Braves 7 Brewers 4

ATLANTA (AP) - Milwaukee manager Ned Yost was ejected during Atlanta's four-run rally in the seventh inning and the Brewers went on the drop a 7-4 decision to Atlanta.

It's the fourth loss in five games and drops the Brewers three and a-half games behind the Cubs in the National League Central race. Chicago beat Pittsburgh 8-zip.

Atlanta won for the seventh time in eight games in a late playoff push. The Braves started the day four and a-half games behind San Diego in the wild-card race and five and a-half back of the Mets in the NL East. New York topped Florida 7-6 in 11 innings.

Rookie Manny Acosta pitched a scoreless seventh for his first win in the majors. He's 1-and-1. Rafael Soriano worked the ninth to earn his ninth save in 12 chances.

Claudio Vargas drops to 11-and-5 with the loss.
