Braves 5 Marlins 1

ATLANTA (AP) - Chuck James allowed only two hits in seven scoreless innings as the Atlanta Braves beat Florida 5-1 to finish a three-game sweep. James and two relievers combined on a three-hitter.

Edgar Renteria had three hits, including a homer. Chipper Jones had two hits and drove in a run. Mark Teixeira added a two-run homer in the first inning

The Braves have won four straight to match the win total from last year's 79-and-83 team.
