Darkness Falls on Play at Brittish

ST. ANDREWS, Scotland (AP) - Play has been suspended at the
British Open because of darkness, so 30 players will have to finish
the second round Saturday morning.
Earlier in the day, play was stopped about an hour because stiff
winds. That maded it impossible for all 156 players to get in 18
holes. England's Steven Tiley was tied for third at 6 under, but
still has eight more holes to play before the third round. Amateur
Jin Jeong of South Korea and Alejandro Canizares of Spain were at 5
Louis Oosthuizen ) of South Africa was the leader
after 36 holes. He was at 12-under 132 after completing the second
round in the morning before the winds picked up.
