TROY, Ala. (AP) - Omar Haugabook passed for a personal best 371 yards and a touchdown and ran for 49 yards and two scores as Troy
upset Oklahoma State 41-23.
Friday night's game was only the second win in 10 tries for the Trojans of the Sun Belt Conference against a Big 12 Conference opponent.
Troy outplayed the Cowboys throughout. The Trojans gained 562 total yards to 432 for Oklahoma State.
Troy (1-2) played an agressive, emotional game in their first time before a home crowd after opening the season with lopsided road losses to Number 16 Arkansas and Number five Florida.
It was possibly Troy's biggest win since a 2004 upset of then Number 17 Missouri.
Oklahoma State (1-2) was the first Big 12 team to visit Troy since the Missouri game.
A group of about 100 fans tore down one of the goal posts within minutes after the game ended and paraded it around the field.
