Troy Hopes to Put Two Halves Together Against Oklahoma State

TROY, Ala. (AP) - Against Number 16 Arkansas, Troy kept the score close in the first half, before being blown out by the Razorbacks 46-26.

Last week at Number five Florida it was the same story, in reverse. Florida ran all over Troy in the opening half, but the Trojans rallied in the second half of a 59-31 loss.

Linebacker Marcus Richardson said Monday it's time for Troy to put two solid halves together. The Trojans (0-2) will get that chance when they host Oklahoma State (1-1) from the Big 12 Conference Friday night.

It will be the first meeting ever for the Trojans and the Cowboys.

Richardson spoke at Troy's weekly media luncheon today. He says the game against the Cowboys is an opportunity for Troy to prove it can start and finish a big game.
