TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - A trial date has been set for two University of Alabama football players.

Defensive lineman Brandon Fanney and running back Roy Upchurch face disorderly conduct charges in Tuscaloosa County district court. Both are scheduled to appear in court October 18th.

Both have pleaded not guilty.

Police arrested Upchurch, Fanney and a third player during a disturbance on the strip in July.

Fanney, a sophomore from Morristown, Tennessee, recorded one tackle in Saturday's game against Western Carolina. Upchurch, also a sophomore from Tallahassee, Florida, rushed for 55 yards and scored a touchdown.
