TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Alabama blewout Western Carolina with a 52-to-6 victory on Saturday, but coach Nick Saban isn't letting the team sit back and relax.
The team watched film of the game today and Saban said he showed them the good, the bad and the ugly.
The coaches delivered a reality check and constructive criticism along with a dash of praise.
The offense racked up 575 yards, but failed to score twice on trips inside Western Carolina's 20-yard line.
The defense didn't allow a touchdown, but Saban said they gave up "a few too many big plays" because of missed tackles and mental mistakes.
He praised the team's effort and intensity, but said the defensive front was too "soft" at the point of attack.
Alabama visits Vanderbilt on Saturday in the Southeastern Conference opener for both teams.
