Braves place Clevlen on DL, recall Blanco

MIAMI (AP) - Atlanta outfielder Brent Clevlen was placed on the
15-day disabled list Tuesday, two days after he sprained his right
big toe making a leaping catch against Pittsburgh.

To replace Clevlen, the Braves recalled Gregor Blanco from
Triple-A Gwinnett.

Clevlen hurt himself in the fourth inning at Pittsburgh on
Sunday when he ran into foul ground, jumped and made a grab against
the side wall in left field. He caught his toe on the wall's base
on the play.

Blanco was batting .294 in 39 games with Gwinnett. Clevlen had
one hit in four at-bats with the Braves this season.
