FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas receiver Marcus Monk has undergone a second arthroscopic knee surgery and may miss the
September 15th game at Alabama.
Monk hurt his right knee in practice on August 9th and had surgery four days later. Monk had pain Monday night and couldn't straighten the leg yesterday morning.
Doctors performed the procedure to remove two bits of loose cartilage yesterday afternoon.
Monk was expected to miss Saturday's game with Troy. Razorback trainer Dean Weber told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Monk may well
miss the Alabama game, too.
Arkansas enters the season ranked Number 21.
