Ozark, AL- One day after a game that saw 39 runs the Wallace Govs were in a relatively low scoring game against Chattahoochee Valley Monday.

Not that the third inning had anything to do with that.

The frame began with a controversial call at first base, as the pirates Nick Stephens bounced a pitch up the middle and made it to first after the ball did, but the first base umpire ruled that the throw had pulled William Beckwith off the bag.

After that, the Govs proceeded to hit two batters, walk four and make two errors in the field on a way to a 7 run third inning.

In later innings Wallace did claw back to cut the lead within 3, but never regained the lead.

CVCC came away with the 8-11 victory.
