OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) - The Baltimore Ravens have drafted
Alabama defensive tackle Terrence Cody with the 57th overall pick
in the NFL draft.

Cody is a 6-foot-5, 350-pounder whose specialty is stuffing the
run. He started in 26 games with Alabama over two seasons after
playing two years at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

Cody constantly faced double-teams, but still finished with 52
career tackles. He also blocked two field goal attempts.

Cody was Baltimore's second selection in the second round. The
Ravens earlier took Texas linebacker Sergio Kindle with the 43rd
overall pick, obtained from Denver on Thursday.
