Auburn Receivers Trying to Fill Gaping Hole

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - The Auburn Tigers have found a replacement for Courtney Taylor, after all.

At least they have found someone to replace Taylor in his unofficial role of team talker.

Auburn receiver Robert Dunn says he's the man. Dunn says he's always been a chatterbox and that coaches often tell him to be quiet.

The Tigers will gladly tolerate Dunn's mouth if he can help fill the gaping void left by Taylor. Taylor caught 54 passes last season.

Auburn is looking for receivers since Auburn ranked 10th in the Southeastern Conference in pass offense last year.

The veteran of the group is Rodgeriqus Smith. He's a former walk-on who had 26 catches last season. The other returning receivers' combined tally: 23.
