TROY, Ala. (AP) - Troy defensive tackle Eugene Kinlaw, the only
returning starter on the Trojan defensive line, has decided to
forego his senior season because of hardship issues.
Troy coach Larry Blakeney said Kinlaw will pursue professional
opportunities either in Canada or by entering the NFL's
supplemental draft in June.
Blakeney said Wednesday that there were no disciplinary problems
and that Kinlaw is still in school with hopes to get a degree.
A native of Homerville, Ga., Kinlaw signed with Troy in 2007 but
had to play in junior college to improve his academics.
