KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) - Florida ace Josh Johnson struggled
through three innings and the Atlanta Braves beat a Marlins split
squad 6-3 Tuesday.
Johnson allowed four runs on five hits and three walks. Chipper
Jones, Troy Glaus, and Brandon Hicks each had two hits for Atlanta.
Atlanta starter Jair Jurrjens gave up three runs in three
innings, his longest outing of the spring. Six Braves relievers
each pitched an inning, giving up a total of three hits.
Closer Billy Wagner struck out two in a perfect inning. Takashi
Saito, Eric O'Flaherty, Peter Moylan, Jonny Venters and Craig
Kimbrel also pitched for the Braves.
