Florida State Seminoles

The Seminoles started Monday's practice with agility drills and correcting mistakes from the weekend.

Head Coach Bobby Bowden said that the Seminoles will need some improvement on assignments for the game against Virginia.

"They (Virginia) move the ball real good," he said.

Florida State is 9-1 all-time against the Cavaliers, dating back to 1992. Virginia handed the Seminoles their first-ever ACC loss in 1995, by a score of 33-28 in Charlottesville.

The Cavaliers have never won in Tallahassee and is only averaging 8.5 points against the Seminoles in the last four meetings.

Florida State on the other hand, is averaging 39.6 points per contest in the last six meetings and has only been held under 28 points once in the series history.
