The Wiregrass Cardinals returned home with a AAU national title trophy.
The cardinals won the classic championship bracket at the tournament in Orlando.
Sammy Frichter and guys made it back to Dothan Monday with the trophy in-hand.
The Cards' first venture into AAU baseball was a winning one. The squad went 8-3 in the tourney to finish the season 40-10.
The title was actually in the consolation bracket, but is still viewed by AAU as a national championship.
The guys also picked up the tournament sportsmanship award.
